Beautifully Imbalanced is a compelling collection of poetry. In every word and verse I could feel and relate to most of the author’s struggles and triumphs.

DaShay Carter’s open-hearted approach is refreshing and every line carries the weight of past trauma, resilience and hope.

The book is an honest and raw exploration of trauma, healing, and the complexities of human emotion. DaShay’s voice is striking in it’s vulnerability and strength. She does not shy away from difficult topics — be it loss, abuse, neglect, heartbreak or what it means to be human. I admire her ability to transform it all into art.

My favorite poems are THEM, I Get Excited, Seasonal, Petty Betty and Dear Child.

Overall, Beautifully Imbalanced is a deeply moving and thought-provoking collection of poems that I feel are relatable for women beyond definable generation and circumstance.

The coffee scrub leaves your skin feeling soooo soft and smooth I love it so much and the scalp oil really helped moisturize my hair plus it’s very light weight and can be used on the body as well. 10/10

DaShay’s ability to bring a vision to life is amazing. I come to her with ideas that are bare bone and basic and she always delivers on an experience that is exceptional through her own creative eyes. She literally brings ideas to life while remaining (and reminding me) to be patient with the outcome. She’s a pleasure to work with and I love every project we plan together.

You may have heard the phrase, "A jack of all trades is a master of none". After meeting and working with Dashay, it is clear there has to be more to this quote.

DaShay came to me (a photographer) with photoshoot concept(s). This included a vision board represented in a clear way. It was more than inspo…it was a full concept…down to the playlist. It was the most throughout direction of creativity I have ever been provided, but still left room for my own input, which is extremely important to me.

My time shooting DaShay was meaningful and I felt creative sparks. Simply put, we made magic and had a blast doing it. Her confidence and skills in front of the camera made my job shooting her effortless.
Although, she made culling photos extremely difficult because I think there were only 2 blinks captured throughout the day long shoot. She is an extremely talented model.

Considering all of my time and work with DaShay, the most impressive aspect of her is HOW she used the content we made. Most use the photos for their page, profile and a reel or two. She was able to squeeze every opportunity from what we made to continue to elevate herself and brand. It is honestly mind blowing how she can repurpose an image for branding. Her graphics are effective and stand out. I know a DaShay Carter graphic clearly when it comes up in my feed. THAT is good branding. I have seen my work repurposed time and time again and it is truly impressive.

I could go on and on about the multi-talented DaShay Carter, but I will leave you instead with the rest of this famous quote…. “though oftentimes better than a master of one”. This is her, her drive and execution….she truly is a Master of Many.
